A California federal judge on Monday threw out on jurisdictional grounds a product liability suit alleging faulty Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. and BAE Systems Inc. helicopter parts caused a fatal crash, saying the plaintiffs had not linked the companies to California.

A California federal judge on Monday tentatively dismissed a lawsuit against Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. and BAE Systems Inc. claiming the companies' allegedly defective equipment caused a fatal Black Hawk helicopter crash in Georgia, saying he lacks jurisdiction since the parties and events have insufficient links to California.
