Fla. Coastal Law Students' $100M Class Action Dismissed
Members of a putative class of Florida Coastal Law School graduates suing the school for $100 million should have been able to reasonably avoid injuries they claim stem from the school's allegedly using deceptive salary and employment statistics, a Florida federal judge said in dismissing the case.

A Florida magistrate judge recommended dismissing a $100 million putative class action alleging Florida Coastal School of Law Inc. filed deceptive salary and employment statistics, finding Tuesday that the graduates failed to state a claim under the state Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act.
