A Florida dermatologist will pay $18 million to settle a whistleblower's suit alleging he billed Medicare for ineligible radiation therapy services as part of a scheme prosecutors have said was impressive in both its "scope and magnitude," according to a consent judgment entered Monday in Florida federal court.
