A California federal judge on Monday granted Allergan Inc.'s motion for summary judgment in a $600 million breach-of-contract lawsuit over Botox, holding that the pharmaceutical giant does not have to pay Miotox certain royalties under the terms of a license agreement.

A California federal judge on Monday tentatively ruled Allergan Inc. owes Miotox LLC royalties on Botox only when it's used in migraine treatments covered by Miotox patents, a ruling that would stop Miotox from collecting the $600 million it says it's owed on their royalty agreement.
