A magistrate judge on Friday awarded the U.S. Forest Service a quick win in a suit in Idaho from environmentalists over a "predator hunt derby" for wolves, coyotes and other animals, saying the agency's decision not to require a special permit for the event wasn't arbitrary or capricious.
