Settlement Reached In Huge Fla. Tech Support Scam
The Federal Trade Commission and the Florida Attorney General's Office reached settlements Friday with a group of companies and individuals that allegedly scammed thousands of Florida residents, especially the elderly, out of millions of dollars by deceiving them into buying computer software and tech support for unnecessary reasons.
