Home Depot USA Inc. doubled down on its motion to strike potential opt-in plaintiffs' statements of claim in a Florida federal wage dispute, saying Thursday that the plaintiffs' new stance on the statements is an "incredible contradiction" that undermines their class certification request.

A Home Depot USA Inc. employee filed a proposed collective action against the home improvement retailer in Florida federal court Monday, alleging the company violates federal labor law by not compensating supervisors for time spent answering after-hours emails, calls and texts.
