The Patent Trial and Appeal Board on Tuesday granted requests by auto parts maker Robert Bosch LLC and Daimler AG for an inter partes review of a fuel injection technology patent that an Australian company has claimed is being infringed.

Auto parts maker Robert Bosch LLC asked a Virginia federal judge on Friday to nix or transfer infringement claims against it, Daimler AG and Mercedes-Benz USA LLC over a fuel injection system patent because the company has no real business connections to Virginia.
