A New York federal judge on Tuesday asked the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Sprint Corp. to submit briefs supporting the parties' proposed $68 million settlement of cramming allegations, saying the court's role is "beyond that of a 'rubber-stamp'" for the deal.
