Less than a month after a federal judge ruled that consumers were likely to confuse a "White Oak" vodka and a "White Oak" wine, the Florida spirits maker behind the liquor brand has agreed to change its name.

A California federal judge on Monday granted California winery White Oak Vineyard & Winery LLC's request to enjoin Florida vodka maker White Oak Spirits LLC from using its White Oak trademark, ruling the Ninth Circuit has not recognized a distinction between wine and spirits in trademark cases.
