Facebook Inc. and Social Ranger LLC have tentatively reached a settlement in a suit alleging the social media giant used anti-competitive practices to dominate the virtual currency services market in social gaming, and a Delaware federal judge on Friday paused the case so the companies could finalize a deal.

Counsel for virtual currency company Social Ranger LLC told a Delaware federal judge that Facebook Inc. founder Mark Zuckerberg "single-handedly" decided to foreclose competition in the virtual currency market and he should be forced to testify in an antitrust suit against the company.

The co-founder and former chief operating officer of an Electronic Arts subsidiary focused on social network gaming must submit to a deposition in an antitrust suit against Facebook over virtual gaming currency, a California federal judge said Friday.
