7-Eleven Inc. has resolved an Indian immigrant's race and national origin bias suit alleging that he was demoted from his position overseeing construction development and energy efficiency because of his heritage, according to a filing in Texas federal court on Thursday.

7-Eleven Inc. urged a Texas federal court Thursday to nix a subpoena for documents by an Indian immigrant in his race and national origin bias suit, saying the discovery request is "overbroad" and could include material that contains proprietary information.
