Castlelake Rejects US Energy's $11.4M Claim Before Trial
Private equity firm Castlelake LP on Thursday rejected U.S. Energy Development Corp.'s claim to $11.4 million in the Chapter 11 cases of oil and gas firm WBH Energy LP, telling a Texas federal judge that U.S. Energy has no legal right to payment after resolving its dispute with WBH Energy tied to prepetition contracts.
