Afilias PLC saw its favorable verdict from a jury in a trade secrets suit against a web domain managing rival cut to $2 million from $10 million after a Virginia federal judge found the jury may have awarded funds for the same claims twice, according to an order Wednesday.

Afilias PLC called on a Virginia federal jury Monday to grant it $10 million for Architelos Inc.'s theft of an automated Internet anti-abuse tool, maintaining Afilias employees stole plans for the technology when they jumped ship for the rival outfit.
