    Hudson Energy Can't Get Priority In A&P Bankruptcy

    A New York federal judge on Thursday upheld a bankruptcy court's ruling that Hudson Energy Services LLC can't take priority in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings for the owner of A&P supermarkets, saying the almost $900,000 worth of electricity Hudson provided the grocery chain can't be defined as movable goods.

    A&P Floats $5M Retention Plan As Top Workers Exit

    The owner of A&P supermarkets asked a New York bankruptcy judge Tuesday to approve a retention plan worth up to $5 million to retain nearly 500 "key" nonunion employees, saying the plan is needed to keep the company from continuing to bleed high-level workers.
