Hyundai Motor America on Monday urged a California federal judge to nix a bid to transfer to Iowa a trademark row accusing an auto parts supplier of improperly selling Hyundai-branded car parts to the automaker's dealers, saying the retailer marketed, sold and shipped the parts in California.

Hyundai Motor America on Thursday slapped an auto parts supplier with a trademark infringement suit in California federal court, accusing it of improperly selling Hyundai-branded car parts, which were meant for sale abroad, to the automaker's U.S. dealers.
