A pension fund that says it lost money on Amira Nature Foods Ltd. when its stock price dropped following accusations of inflated financial reporting ahead of its initial public offering asked a California federal judge on Monday to consolidate two putative class actions against the company and appoint the pension fund lead plaintiff.

Food Exporter Amira Inflated Revenue To Boost IPO: Suit
Amira Nature Foods Ltd. shareholders filed a class action complaint in California federal court on Wednesday, after a Monday research report suggested that the food exporter inflated its revenue, leading its $90 million initial public offering to be overvalued.
