A California federal court has entered a $2 million judgment in Yelp's favor, ruling online review company Revleap had violated a settlement agreement of a Yelp suit alleging Revleap had undermined it by publishing fake positive reviews.

Edward Herzstock and his company Revleap voiced their opposition Tuesday in California federal court to company co-founder Alec Farwell's bid to help Yelp Inc. reopen a case alleging Revleap undermined Yelp by publishing fake positive reviews, saying Farwell is an unreliable party who embezzled funds from Revleap.

Online review leader Yelp Inc. asked a California judge Wednesday to reopen its case against a website that it says publishes positive reviews for businesses for pay, saying one of the website's co-founders had breached the terms of their settlement and Yelp was now entitled to $2 million under the previously agreed-upon stipulated judgment against him.
