Liberty Can't Appeal Asbestos Cap Ruling, Court Finds
Liberty Mutual cannot appeal a ruling that it could be liable for more than $10 million in asbestos personal injury claims against a policyholder, valve maker Fairbanks, because the time is not right, a New York federal judge said Thursday.

Valve manufacturer The Fairbanks Co. urged a New York federal judge on Wednesday to deny Liberty Mutual's request to immediately seek Second Circuit review of his refusal to limit Fairbanks' recovery for asbestos personal injury claims to a single, $10 million policy limit.
