A medical device maker asked U.S. District Judge Rodney Gilstrap on Tuesday to reinstate a Texas federal jury's findings that claims of two spinal correction device patents were invalid, saying he's bound by his oral jury instructions even though he took them back.

Texas Jury Clears Spinal Device Co. In Patent Suit
A Texas federal jury on Friday found that medical device manufacturer Globus Medical Inc. did not infringe the spinal correction device patents of Texas-based Flexuspine Inc. after failed mediation and a five-day trial under U.S. District Judge Rodney Gilstrap.
