A private equity investor and an Oak Investment Partners fund manager were arrested and charged with insider trading in Massachusetts federal court Thursday over an alleged scheme in which the investor tipped the fund manager about Apollo Tyres Ltd.'s plans to buy Cooper Tire and Rubber Co. after hearing about it from his wife, an attorney at Apollo.
