An Illinois car dealership slammed Autolaw Group PA and consulting firm Leedom and Associates LLC, saying Tuesday that the duo has not offered any valid reason to dismiss malpractice claims over a compliance audit that had overlooked the dealership's use of illegal payment installment contracts.

An Illinois federal judge was urged Monday to toss a suit accusing Autolaw Group PA and consulting firm Leedom and Associates LLC of malpractice for failing to tell an auto dealership that its payment installment contract was illegal during a compliance audit, saying the audit wasn't supposed to look at every document.
