The Eighth Circuit said on Tuesday that it would not reconsider its decision that favored a class of workers suing commercial trucking business Celadon Trucking Services by holding that the company should have given them notice before laying them off.

A class of drivers suing Celadon Trucking Services Inc. for laying them off without notice urged the Eighth Circuit on Friday not to rehear its rejection of the commercial trucking business' arguments that a lower court relied on inadmissible evidence when awarding the employees damages.
