Bluestone Coal Corp. and Double-Bonus Coal Co. on Tuesday reached an agreement with a Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. subsidiary to pause a borehole drilling project in West Virginia, agreeing to withdraw a proposed temporary restraining order in a dispute over damage to their mining operation.

Cliffs Natural Unit Keeps Damaging Mining Ops, Suit Says
Bluestone Coal Corp. and Double-Bonus Coal Co. have filed suit in West Virginia federal court, alleging a Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. subsidiary damaged their mining operation by drilling a shaft through their site and refusing to stop despite possible evidence destruction.
