An Ohio federal judge on Thursday kept alive a Nordson Corp. unit's lawsuit alleging an AIG subsidiary wrongfully denied it coverage in a French civil proceeding over allegedly defective temperature sensors in BMW and Peugeot vehicles, saying the case involves disputed issues of material fact and novel legal questions.

A German subsidiary of global adhesive maker Nordson Corp. sued AIG subsidiary Insurance Co. of the State of Pennsylvania Thursday in Ohio federal court, claiming it has been wrongly denied coverage in a French civil proceeding over allegedly defective temperature sensors used in certain BMW and Peugeot vehicles.
