Two West Coast winemakers have agreed to put a cork in a trademark dispute over their dueling "Bella Union" and "Union Wine" brand names, according to court papers filed Tuesday.

A California federal judge on Wednesday refused to dismiss winemaker FN Cellars LLC's case seeking a ruling that it didn't infringe Union Wine Co.'s trademark, saying it's clear that when Union sent FN a letter regarding the competing marks, it wasn't a "professional courtesy" but closer to a litigation threat.
