Sprint Thwarts Cisco Patent Litigation Over Client Suits
Sprint beat a patent invalidation suit brought by Cisco when a Delaware federal judge ruled Friday that the mere threat that Cisco's clients could be sued by Sprint for their use of the technology wasn't enough to warrant Cisco bringing suit.

Cisco Systems Inc. asked a Delaware federal judge on Friday not to dismiss its patent invalidation suits against Sprint Communications Co. LP, saying Sprint has indirectly accused Cisco of infringement by suing its clients based on Cisco products.
