Immigration advocacy groups on Thursday released a slew of pictures showing people crowded into border patrol facilities in the Tucson area, after a judge overseeing a class action challenging "harsh and degrading" conditions in such facilities partly rejected the government's bid to seal key case documents.

Immigrant advocacy groups launched a class action against the head of U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Arizona federal court on Monday, claiming detainees in the Tucson area are held for days in dirty holding cells without proper medical care or enough food.
