Jailed Texas CEO Must Pay $10M For Workers' Comp Fraud
The incarcerated former CEO of a Texas treatment center must pay $10.4 million for violating the False Claims Act after a federal judge brushed aside his claims that he was innocent of taking kickbacks from pharmacies, given that he already copped to the fraud in a plea agreement.

Texas Treatment Center Settles FCA Claims For $3M
Medical and physical therapy provider Union Treatment Center has agreed to pay the government $3 million to settle allegations it ran a scheme to defraud the federal workers' compensation program, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Wednesday.
