Toyota Wants DQ Of Brown Rudnick In Sound System IP Suit
Toyota Motor Co. on Monday urged a Texas federal judge to disqualify Brown Rudnick LLP from representing a patent holder accusing the company of infringing two sound system connectivity patents, saying an attorney at the firm worked on cases for Toyota previously and could compromise the case.

Hyundai Motor Co., Toyota Motor Co. and others ripped off technology that lets drivers connect external multimedia devices to a car's stereo system, according to automotive accessory company Blitzsafe Texas LLC's patent infringement suits filed Thursday in Texas federal court.
