The week in intellectual property complaints saw Key & Associates client Wilson Sporting Goods Co. blitzing a rival equipment manufacturer for infringing a patent for manufacturing footballs and White & Williams LLP saying its crowdfunding client Gust Inc. was improperly targeted by a nonpracticing entity that knew its patents couldn't pass muster under Alice — all part of the nearly 250 IP actions filed in federal court.

Industrial lighting company Amerlux LLC has violated six LED lighting component patents, a subsidiary of Koninklijke Philips Electronics NV claimed Wednesday in a patent infringement lawsuit filed in Massachusetts federal court.
