A Texas federal judge on Friday denied broker-dealer Centerboard Securities LLC's attempt to disqualify Husch Blackwell LLP from representing four nonparty witnesses in a breach of contract suit over an energy company's failure to pay fees for advisory services, saying the firm never represented Centerboard and thus a conflict of interest does not exist.
