Fla. Rep.'s Redistricting Suit Draws Calls for Sanctions
The League of Women Voters and other intervenors who successfully contested Florida U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown's lawsuit challenging the recent reconfiguration of her district asked a federal court Thursday to sanction her and her counsel, saying it was unlikely she could prove that the redistricting discriminated against black voters.

US Rep. Resumes Suit To Block Fla. Redistricting Maps
U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown, D-Fla., is resuming federal litigation against the state legislature and Florida's Secretary of State over changes to her voting district that will allegedly harm minority voters, saying Tuesday she will file an amended lawsuit to block court-approved redistricting maps before Dec. 29.
