Uber and Evanston Insurance Co. have reached a deal in principle in litigation claiming the insurer isn't responsible for covering a settlement over a fatal collision, which spawned counterclaims challenging the insurer's refusal to cover that matter and another accident-related action, according to a Thursday filing in California federal court.
