A New Jersey federal judge Tuesday remanded to state court a proposed consumer class action against a gym chain accused of automatically renewing its member contracts, finding that the case should be considered a local dispute under the Class Action Fairness Act.

Fitness center chain Club Metro USA LLC was hit with a proposed class action removed to New Jersey federal court Thursday accusing the chain of unlawfully making their membership contracts perpetually renew after the membership period has ended.
