A proposed class of Fiat Chrysler investors on Friday urged a New York federal court not to dismiss allegations that the automaker intentionally misled them on its subpar regulatory compliance that led to a nearly $2 billion fall in stock, arguing there's "ample" evidence of FCA's lies.

Automaker Fiat Chrysler said Monday a putative shareholder class action in New York should be dismissed because claims the company intentionally misled investors about its regulatory compliance, which led to hundreds of millions in fines ahead of a $1.8 billion stock value decrease, aren’t proven in the complaint.
