A New York federal judge on Friday confirmed the arbitration award in a dispute between American restaurant Benihana Inc. and its global counterpart, Benihana of Tokyo LLC, ruling in favor of Benihana Inc. for $1.1 million in attorneys' fees but denying both companies' bids to sanction each other in the long-running breach of contract lawsuit.
