State Farm doesn't have to cover a $2.8 million judgment that an injured worker secured against a tree trimming company, a Mississippi federal judge ruled Wednesday, finding that a policy exclusion for injuries stemming from the use of equipment mounted to a vehicle clearly bars coverage.

A Mississippi federal judge on Wednesday denied a bid to toss a $2.8 million coverage dispute between State Farm Mutual and a tree trimming company in favor of an underlying state court suit brought by an allegedly injured worker, saying that suit only involves liability issues.
