Fiat Chrysler lodged cross-claims against the government Thursday in California federal court saying it shouldn't be held liable for Allstate Insurance Co. and two other insurers' suit over a 2013 brush fire in Southern California allegedly caused by a government employee driving a Jeep.

More Insurers Sue BLM, Chrysler Over 2013 Calif. Fire
Allstate Insurance Co. and two other insurers piled on Monday to the list of insurer suits against FCA US, Chrysler Group LLC and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management over a 2013 brush fire in Southern California that destroyed more than 7,000 acres and 120 residential buildings.
