Apple Ducks Class Action Over Wi-Fi Assist Data Overage
A California federal judge on Tuesday tossed a putative class action alleging Apple deceived consumers about the risks from its Wi-Fi Assist feature in the new iOS 9 mobile operating system, saying the consumers failed to prove future harm or show that they relied on Apple's claims or omissions.

Apple's IOS Update Causes Data Overages, Suit Says
A putative class of Apple Inc. product owners filed suit in California federal court Friday alleging the company deceived consumers about the risks from its Wi-Fi Assist feature in the new iOS 9 mobile operating system, saying the feature can cause massive overages by switching to network data instead of a Wi-Fi connection.
