Only one claim remains in a consumer's suit against TD Bank and Target over unsolicited phone calls after a New Jersey federal judge recently struck the class allegations and ruled the Telephone Consumer Protection Act claim should be tossed as the consumer hadn't properly revoked her consent to receive the calls.

TD Bank USA NA was hit with a putative class action in New Jersey federal court on Monday, alleging that the bank repeatedly calls account holders, sometimes up to 10 times a day, in violation of federal consumer protection laws.
