Premiere Global Services Inc. on Tuesday hit back at a putative class action seeking to block its $1 billion sale to private equity firm Siris Capital Group LLC, arguing the lawsuit fails to allege any actual wrongdoing on the part of the Atlanta-based software provider.

Premiere Global Services Inc. has been hit with a putative class action lawsuit in Georgia district court over allegations that the Atlanta-based software provider's $1 billion sale to private equity firm Siris Capital Group LLC shortchanges shareholders and was the result of a flawed negotiation process.
