A Delaware federal judge on Tuesday tossed Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.'s breach of contract suit against Imperium IP Holdings Ltd., saying that the "tactical" case is a waste of judicial resources because nearly identical claims are already playing out on appeal in a separate case.

A Delaware federal court refused Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.'s request to redact dozens of allegations in its breach of license lawsuit against Imperium IP Holdings Ltd. Monday, determining that they did not reveal trade secrets or other sensitive information related to current business dealings.
