Arkema Unit Escapes $55M Defective Tile Mortar Suit
A proposed class of California homeowners seeking upwards of $55 million from the adhesive-making subsidiary of Arkema for the allegedly false marketing of a certain type of tile mortar on Thursday saw their complaint dismissed by a federal judge, who said they'd failed to explain why the court had subject matter jurisdiction.

Arkema Unit Slapped With $55M Defective Tile Mortar Suit
A homeowner has hit Arkema subsidiary Bostik with a proposed class action in California federal court, alleging the adhesive company owes California homeowners at least $55 million for marketing a certain type of mortar as being able to prevent cracks in tile floors when the product was no different from an older, non-crack-preventing formula.
