Horse Racing Fantasy Sports Biz Takes Bets, Judge Says
California federal judge gave a group of horse racing associations a partial win on Monday in their suit against fantasy racing business Derby Wars, finding that the fantasy horseracing company's entry fees are in fact wagers and that the company is operating an off-track betting system under federal law.

Fantasy Horse Racing Co. Hit With Illegal-Gambling Suit
A group of horse racing associations sued fantasy racing business DerbyWars in California federal court Wednesday for allegedly accepting unauthorized bets, opening a new front in the battle over where legitimate fantasy sports end and illegal gambling begins.
