A West Virginia federal judge told a Markel Corp. insurer Tuesday that it will have to convince a jury that it does not owe a business owner for the loss of a waterfront restaurant that sank into the Ohio River.

A Markel Corp. insurer asked a West Virginia federal court on Friday to let it off the hook from covering the cost of a waterfront restaurant that sunk into the Ohio river, saying the business that owned the barge wasn't the policyholder.
