    A New York resident is suing self-balancing "hoverboard" maker Swagway LLC and Modell's Sporting Goods after his newly purchased board allegedly exploded while its battery was charging, starting a fire that destroyed part of his home, according to a proposed class action filed in Indiana federal court Thursday.
