The owners of the "Grumpy Cat" copyrights and trademarks asked a California federal court on Friday to award them nearly $322,000 in attorneys' fees after they won a suit over a coffee shop's sale of "Grumppuccinos" branded with the internet-famous pet's name and image.

A coffee shop that made "Grumppuccinos" and other Grumpy Cat-related coffee products is liable for copyright and trademark infringement because a stipulation of its licensing agreement with the owners of the "Grumpy Cat" image — which allowed only the sale of Grumpy Cat iced coffee – was a condition rather than a covenant, a California federal judge found Thursday.
