A California federal judge on Tuesday awarded damages of more than $14.9 million in Viacom International Inc.'s successful suit accusing toy company MGA Entertainment Inc. of breaching four contracts in connection with ad sales and production of a TV show for the Lalaloopsy doll brand.

A California federal judge on Thursday sided with Viacom International Inc. in its breach-of-contract suit accusing toy company MGA Entertainment Inc. of $5 million in unpaid international advertising, saying there was no question that MGA's failure to honor its agreement had harmed Viacom.
