Guinness Ad Settlement Gives Beer Buyers 50-Cent Refunds
The company that makes Guinness will serve up partial refunds to people who bought its Extra Stout beer in Massachusetts, according to a proposed class action settlement filed in federal court Tuesday that would resolve long-running claims that the company misled consumers about where the beer was brewed.

Beer Maker To Face Trimmed Claims In Guinness Ad Suit
A Massachusetts federal judge has trimmed a proposed class action accusing the maker of Guinness Extra Stout of misrepresenting that the beer was brewed in Dublin when it was actually brewed in Canada, allegedly allowing the company to overcharge for the beverage.
